Terms of Service

Effective date: August 16, 2026
Last updated: August 16, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of BehavioralHealth.careers (the “Site”), operated by Behavioral Health Careers, LLC, a Florida limited liability company (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, creating an account, or submitting a job listing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

1. What the Site is

BehavioralHealth.careers is a job board and career resource platform for the behavioral health and addiction treatment workforce. We publish job listings, career guides, salary information, and licensing resources. We are not a staffing agency, recruiter, or employer of the positions listed. We do not guarantee that any listing will result in an interview, offer, or employment.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. By using the Site, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

3. Job listings and third-party sites

Most job listings on the Site link to external employer websites or application systems. When you follow one of those links, you leave the Site, and the employer’s own terms and privacy practices apply. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, their hiring decisions, or how they handle your information.

We review listings for relevance to the behavioral health field, but we do not independently verify every detail of every posting, including salary figures supplied by employers. If you find a listing that appears fraudulent, discriminatory, or inaccurate, report it to legal@behavioralhealth.careers.

4. Accounts

Some features require an account. If you create one, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials secure, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. One account per person or organization. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Job seeker terms

These terms apply if you use job seeker features such as saved searches, job alerts, or resume uploads, where available.

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of any resume, profile, or application material you submit.
  • If the Site offers resume or profile features, the applicable visibility controls and any additional terms presented with those features will govern how that material is stored, displayed, or shared. No searchable resume database is currently offered.
  • We never charge job seekers to browse listings or apply for jobs.
  • Nothing on the Site is career, legal, medical, or clinical advice. Salary data and licensing information are provided for general reference; verify requirements with the relevant state board or employer before making decisions.

6. Employer and job-submission terms

These terms apply if you create an employer account, submit or manage a listing, purchase advertising, or access employer or candidate features, where available. Employer submissions must also follow the Employer Posting Guidelines. If the Guidelines conflict with these Terms, these Terms control.

  • You must be authorized to act for the identified employer or disclose that you are acting for an authorized staffing or recruiting agency.
  • Listings must describe real, currently open United States positions in behavioral health, mental health, addiction treatment, recovery services, psychiatric care, autism/ABA services, or another role we determine is appropriately related to the Site.
  • All submitted information must be accurate, current, professional, non-stigmatizing, and not misleading. You may not impersonate or misrepresent an employer, promise employment, or submit content you do not have the right to use.
  • Listings and hiring practices must comply with applicable law, including equal employment opportunity, anti-discrimination, accessibility, and pay-transparency requirements.
  • Listings must provide a bona fide minimum and maximum compensation range in U.S. dollars and identify the applicable compensation unit. Compensation information must be accurate and provided in good faith. We may decline or remove listings with missing, implausible, or misleading compensation claims.
  • Application links must ordinarily direct candidates to the employer’s official secure career page or an authorized applicant tracking system. You may not direct candidates to unsafe, deceptive, shortened, or obviously unrelated destinations.
  • You may not charge applicants fees; request Social Security numbers, protected health information, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive information; or use a listing to collect personal information for purposes unrelated to legitimate hiring.
  • Multi-level marketing opportunities, franchise sales presented as jobs, unlawful recruiting schemes, and deceptive or materially misleading commission-only opportunities are prohibited.
  • By submitting a listing and any employer name, logo, or related material, you confirm that you have the necessary rights and grant us a limited, nonexclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, format, edit for clarity, display, and distribute that material as reasonably necessary to review, operate, and promote the listing and the Site.
  • Submissions are moderated and do not publish automatically. Submission does not guarantee publication, placement, applicant volume, or hiring outcomes. We may request changes, edit for formatting or clarity, reject, expire, suspend, or remove a listing in accordance with these Terms and our editorial standards.
  • BehavioralHealth.careers is an independent job board and is not necessarily affiliated with employers whose listings appear on the Site. Employers remain responsible for their listings, hiring processes, application systems, employment representations, legal compliance, and treatment of applicant information.
  • Candidate information accessed through an authorized Site feature may be used only for legitimate hiring purposes and in accordance with the notices and controls presented with that feature. Reselling, scraping, or repurposing candidate data is prohibited.

7. Complimentary and future paid services

The current employer review release is complimentary. We do not currently process payments for employer job submissions, and complimentary submission does not guarantee publication or create an entitlement to future free service.

If we later introduce paid job postings, featured placement, packages, subscriptions, or other paid services, the price, duration, renewal terms, cancellation terms, refund rules, and payment processor will be disclosed before purchase. We will not charge an employer without its affirmative authorization. Additional terms presented at purchase may apply to those services and will supplement these Terms.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to scrape or harvest data from the Site by automated means; post false, misleading, defamatory, or infringing content; interfere with the Site’s operation or security; impersonate another person or organization; or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

9. Intellectual property

The Site’s content, including articles, guides, salary resources, design, and branding, belongs to Behavioral Health Careers, LLC or its licensors. You may view and share links to our content, but you may not republish, sell, or systematically copy it without written permission. Content you submit remains yours, subject to the limited licenses and permissions described in these Terms.

If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright, send a notice containing sufficient information to identify the copyrighted work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and the basis for your claim to legal@behavioralhealth.careers.

10. Disclaimers

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties, express or implied, about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of listings, salary data, or other content, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Employment decisions, licensing decisions, and career decisions are yours, made at your own judgment.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Behavioral Health Careers, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or lost opportunities, arising from your use of the Site. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

If you are an employer, agency, or advertiser, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Behavioral Health Careers, LLC and its officers, employees, and agents from claims arising out of your listings, submitted content, hiring practices, application systems, or use of candidate data in violation of these Terms or applicable law.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Site at any time and may request account deletion by emailing legal@behavioralhealth.careers. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Sections 6 through 15 that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Site evolves. We will post the updated version here with a new effective date, and for material changes affecting account holders, we will provide notice by email or on-site notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
